Goulburn Valley Health have a unique opportunity to join our haematology service in a flexible part-time role, working with our regional community to deliver real health outcomes.


About This Role

Working with inpatient and ambulatory care patients, you will play a key role amongst a multidisciplinary team to provide haematology services.

Unique to our service, we have a partnership with metropolitan services to access Tumour Stream MDM, boosting health outcomes as well as professional opportunity.

Within your role, you will also have the opportunity to support undergraduate and post-graduate level students, and ongoing research activities.


What's a day in the life?

Within your new role, everyday will bring with it new challenges, working with patients through ward rounds, consulting and in outpatient clinics, there will always be something new on your to-do list.

During your day you might also provide support to junior hospital doctors and registrars in assessment and documentation of admissions or discharges. Find yourself supporting the emergency department or telephone support to surrounding hospitals. 

Your workday might include many toher activities within the delivery of the haematology services.


About You

What you need:

  • FRACP or equivalent by examination in Clinical Haematology
  • Current registration with AHPRA as Specialist Clinical Haematologist
  • Excellent Clinical Skills and Clinical Practice in clinical trial conduct


Salary Range

Specialist Year 1-9
