The National University Cancer Institute, Singapore (NCIS) is a leading academic cancer centre with a FACT–JACIE-accredited Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) and Cellular Therapy Programme, delivering autologous, allogeneic, umbilical cord blood, and haploidentical transplantation. NCIS also conducts clinical trials in advanced cellular therapies, including locally developed CAR-T platforms.
We are seeking a Clinical Haematologist to join our HSCT and Cellular Therapy Programme in a substantive Consultant appointment. This is an opportunity to contribute to both high-quality clinical care and strategic programme development at a centre committed to excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level care for patients undergoing HSCT and cellular therapy.
- Contribute to innovative models of care including ambulatory and home-based transplant pathways.
- Work closely with the HSCT Programme Director and Stem Cell Laboratory Medical Director to strengthen clinical–laboratory integration.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality assurance, and service development within the stem cell laboratory.
- Opportunity to develop leadership in stem cell and cellular therapy laboratory medicine.
- Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
- Engage in clinical and translational research aligned with programme priorities.
Essential Requirements
- Specialist qualifications recognised by the Singapore Medical Council (e.g. CCT/CCST, FRCPath (UK), FRCPA (Clinical Haematology))
- Consultant-level experience in malignant haematology and HSCT.
Training and Development
Applicants without prior stem cell laboratory experience but with strong interest in stem cell and cellular therapy are strongly encouraged to apply. A structured training and mentorship pathway will be provided in collaboration with programme and laboratory leadership.
