Tracey Arthur, Advanced Practitioner in Haematology, University Hospital of Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, Bristol, UK
Tracey is an experienced and passionate haematology nurse . With a strong foundation in cancer care, she has held a variety of leadership roles across haematology and oncology services, including managing chemotherapy, outpatient, and inpatient transplant units. Tracey has continually advanced her skills, gaining a Master’s in Advanced Practice and becoming a non-medical prescriber, trained to prescribe chemotherapy and blood products. She now works as an Advanced Practitioner in Ambulatory Care in UK, where she leads clinics and supports complex patient care.
Committed to lifelong learning and mentoring others, Tracey also holds a postgraduate teaching qualification and is dedicated to supporting the development of junior staff. Her clinical and research interests focus on myeloid malignancies and improving care for older AML patients. She’s actively involved in clinical trials, chairs education initiatives, and regularly presents her work at national and international conferences. Tracey is a great example of how nurses can shape their careers, lead change, and make a real difference in haematology care.
