About the Role:
Monash Haematology is a dynamic academic department that integrates the best evidence–base into routine patient care. It provides haematology care to a population of approximately 1.3 million, making the largest service in Australia
Key leadership areas in clinical care and research include Lymphoma, myeloma and CLL, Acute leukaemia and myelodysplastic syndromes, Venous thromboembolic disease, Haemoglobinopathy Obstetric Haematology and Transfusion medicine.
In addition to these established pillars, Monash Haematology has an emerging Cell Therapies Program, is an active collaborator with several research organisations and embedded within the School of Clinical Sciences. These academic links provide Fellows with opportunities to extend their clinical experience within the scientific program, including the potential to undertake a higher degree (e.g. PhD).
