The Haematology Research Unit at Monash Health is vibrant and fast paced and we are seeking new team members for unique roles within our department. We are a large clinical trial unit which utilises the purpose-built Clinical Trial Centre within the Monash Health Translation Precinct to implement new and exciting clinical trial opportunities for our haematology patients.

About UsThe Haematology Research Unit delivers Clinical Trials for Monash Health Haematology patients, ranging from Phase 1 to Phase 3 studies. We have in excess of 70 active clinical trials, offering patient-centric care to patients with complex needs. We continue to grow in size, are a dynamic unit, and pride ourselves in the quality of care we deliver to our patients.
About the RoleWe have three new positions available for Clinical Trial Coordinator Team Leaders to each lead a team of coordinators and assistants within our Haematology Clinical Trials research unit, ensuring the effective and efficient conduct of clinical trials following Good Clinical Practices as set out by the International Conference on Harmonisation and with approval from a Human Research Ethics Committee. A strong collaboration between the unit, the trial sponsors, and Monash Health is required in planning, coordinating and implementing trials to ensure the best possible care for trial patients. These are full time positions located at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton, Victoria, within the Monash Health Translational Precinct, Clinical Trials Centre, however a fractional role will be considered for the right candidate.

As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communications skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations, and effective collaboration. You lead by example, engaging the team to achieve goals, creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail, multitasking and prioritization skills, are compassionate, honest with integrity, and an advanced level of empathy for both fellow colleagues and our patient population. You are motivated with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic. Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor is desirable but not mandatory.
