We are looking for a Staff Specialist in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology! The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Haematology Department and Hospital as required.

The Staff Specialist in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology will participate in provision of high-quality haematology outpatient and inpatient services. They will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

The Staff Specialist in Clinical and Laboratory Haematology will work collaboratively with the Local Pathology Director at the Concord Repatriation General Hospital to expand the diagnostic Haematology service, and operate within the NSW Health Pathology Laboratory services in accordance with their Scope of Clinical Practice and as directed through the NSW Health Pathology’s Director of Clinical Operations, Local Pathology Director and NSW Health Pathology’s Operations Director East.
