Department of Haematology, Blood Transplant and Cell Therapies

Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners for the above position in the Western Sydney Local Health District. The position will be primarily located at Westmead Hospital within the Department of Haematology.

Successful applicants will deliver all aspects of clinical care for patients undergoing blood transplant and immune effector cell therapies as inpatients or outpatients at Westmead Hospital, including participating in Haematology department on call rosters under the supervision of the Blood Transplant and Cellular Therapies (BTCT) Director, the clinical lead for immune effector cell therapies or their delegates with professional accountability to the Director of Clinical Haematology, Director Cancer Services and the General Manager Westmead Hospital.

Applicants must have successfully completed fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and have specialist AHPRA registration. 

The position will be for a period of 12 months, commencing in the 2022 Clinical Year, from 7 February 2022 to 5 February 2023.
