A truly exceptional opportunity is available for a Haematology Fellow to develop advanced skills in private practice clinical haematology under the direct supervision of senior specialists.  Starting in February 2022, this appointment (for a 1 or 2-year period) will see you involved in a clinical capacity at our Icon Cancer Centre in Wesley Hospital whilst concurrently enrolled in a PhD or similar higher degree. We will work with you to facilitate the research higher degree for example, via UQ/QIMR with Professor Steven Lane.

Working under the clinical direction of Icon’s Director of Haematology, the role has equally significant expectations of your clinical competency and compassionate approach.  You’ll be supported to deliver best practice assessment, evaluation, and advice according to professional standards.  In doing so, we’re seeking a caring professional who can act as an advocate to assist patients to make informed decisions, showing a level of empathy, respect and inclusion that aligns closely with Icon’s values.
