Specialist in Clinical Haematology - Alfred Health, Melbourne

Alfred Health is the main provider of health services to people in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne and is also a major provider of specialist services to people across Victoria.  The Health Service operates three outstanding facilities: The Alfred, Caulfield and Sandringham.

Applications are invited for the position of Full Time Specialist in Clinical Haematology. 

Generic Requirements:

Appointees must be legally qualified practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Clinical Haematology is required as well as meeting Alfred Health requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in Clinical Haematology.

Specific Requirements:

Experience in CAR-T and stem cell transplantation and an interest in lymphoid malignancies would be considered as advantageous. There is an expectation that the applicant has considerable experience as a lead investigator in clinical trials and is willing to develop a clinical trial profile within our service. Postgraduate research qualifications (MD/PhD) would be desirable. There will be appropriate support for a basic science or translational research program through the Australian Centre for Blood Diseases, Monash University.
